The Art of the Science Teachers
the profesional teacher mediates between young people and the adult world. he structures knowledge, develops curiosity inothers, and tranmites of sense of excitement. the essence of his job is variety and chnage of pupils, of situations, and of problems and there can be no single prescriptions for success. on the countrary, successful practice of the art demands critical awareness of changing issues, peceptives assesment of the pupils ability to understand and to relate, and considerable skill at managing the learning enviroment. such a paragon is rare and the teacher usually responds to the tension of these demands by intuitive adjusment, but the art is developing and there need to make such adjustments explicit in order to further professional growth
